Instructions:
- Place the harness over your dog's head and fasten the chest straps. Begin by adjusting the two neck adjusters to fit comfortably at the base of your dog's neck. Next, adjust the chest strap to fit, leaving a space of two fingers between the harness and your dog's body. Ensure equal adjustment on both sides of the harness. Lengthen or shorten the sternum straps to eliminate any sagging material, conforming the harness to your dog's body when they're standing. During the initial weeks of use, you may need to fine-tune the harness sizing for a perfect fit.
Warnings and Safety: A harness should fit comfortably, but make sure you can pass two fingers between the harness and your pet's body (and remember to regularly check under the harness for redness or hair loss that could be caused by an ill-fitting harness). Remember, young pets grow fast and their harness will need adjusting regularly and eventually replacing. For your pet's safety, examine the harness regularly for wear and tear and replace when appropriate, remembering also that pets can chew items unexpectedly, and if any material is ingested to seek immediate veterinary advice. Do not leave pets unattended while using this harness, and please ensure you remove your pet's harness before placing them into a pet crate. When using liquid flea treatments on your dog, remove their collar and harness as the chemical may react with the material and buckle.
