The Cooling Wrap is safe for your dog because it mimics our body's own natural cooling process. Simply soak the vest in cold water, squeeze the water out, and then it's ready for cooling. As the cool water evaporates it creates a cooling reaction, helping your dog stay cooler longer. The thin inner layer's microfibers' remarkable absorption power does what conventional fibers can't, creating a longer-lasting cooling effect. The vest's three-dimensional mesh fabric directs airflow, causing moisture to evaporate from the cooling layer, while the lining's technical, moisture-wicking knit feels comfortable even when wet. The Cooling Wrap is designed to cover the areas of the dog's body that enhance cooling, namely the chest and its large blood vessels and the lungs. As circulation occurs, the vest's cooling effect spreads throughout the body, eliminating the need for the garment to cover the majority of the dog's body.

Warnings and Safety: Harnesses should fit comfortably, but ensure you can pass two fingers between the harness and your dog's body. It could become uncomfortable if your pet's harness doesn't fit correctly. Signs of this include redness, soreness and hair loss, be sure to check for these signs regularly. Pets, especially puppies, grow quickly, and their coats become fuller more quickly; if this happens, adjust your dog's harness so it fits comfortably. Senior dogs may lose hair, which should also prompt you to adjust your dog's harness. Always ensure you take care of your harness and look for signs of wear and tear that may become a hazard to your dog; your dog may chew the harness or become uncomfortable with any signs of wear. If material is ever ingested, seek immediate veterinary advice. Never leave pets unattended with a harness on; this includes in the car, at home or when out and about. Always remove your pet's harness when they are in a crate.
